We are excited to share an update on the Progressive Art Studio Alliance and the formation of a new organization. The Progressive Art Studio Alliance (PASA) advocates for resources and policies that improve the outcomes of our member programs across the United States and abroad. As the only organization focusing on Progressive Art Studios, the Alliance works to provide shared opportunities for advocacy, collaboration, education, research, and public policy. 

Community Access Art Collective (Amy Sharp), Progressive Art Studio Collective (Anthony Marcellini) Arts of Life (Denny Fisher + Vincent Uribe), Center for Creative Works (Lori Bartol), Vinfen’s Gateway Arts (Greg Liakos), Access Gallery (Damon McLeese). The 7 of us have been volunteering our time for the past several months to develop the framework of this new organization, and we know there is more progress to be made. We are excited for the future of this Alliance to continue to grow. While we may be in our infancy, our need for member support will be crucial as we begin to develop offerings and resources to our membership base.

Here’s what you can look forward to as a member:

• Invitations to member-only events like Quarterly meetings that dig deeper into areas that impact our sector.

• Volunteer opportunities to get involved firsthand.

• Share your events with PASA members.

• Access a Depository of sessions beginning with the 2025 Symposium

• Access shared Resources and Best practices (for example: Artist Agreements and Releases)

• National Information that impacts PAS programs.
